BACKGROUND

Skinny Boo was an internal start-up owned by Submission Technology. The company had an entrepreneurial spirit and wanted to enter new markets. Skinny Boo is a natural detox tea and comes in pyramid bags and is packaged in pouches of 30.

This work was completed whilst working as Senior Graphic & Digital Designer at Submission Technology.

PROJECT BRIEF

The challenge was to pitch the new product near the premium end of the market. A brand was required to communicate with a health conscious female audience. I was the sole designer working on the project and my brief was to design and create the identity for the brand, logo design, packaging, responsive website and all marketing materials needed to launch the product.

DESIGN JOURNEY

The biggest challenge was trying to combine the feel of quality & value whilst still retaining an element of softness & delicateness. I provided different art directions to the product owner and worked  closely with them in order to determine the best option. I committed to high-volume screen designs so not to limit the creative possibilities and get narrow sighted.
